Pricing Information

A price rating, where included, is given in "$" symbols and is to be used as a rough estimate only. More importantly, price is not included when rating which restaurant serves the better steak. Note that restaurants that serve USDA Prime cuts along with lesser-graded cuts will have a wide range in steak prices.

  • $ = Baseline Local Steakhouse Pricing
  • $$ = Moderately Above Baseline Pricing
  • $$$ = Significantly Above Baseline Pricing
The "$" ratings are relative to local area pricing, and are not based on specific dollar amounts.  If the steak I ordered cost well above a similar quality cut at other area restaurants, the restaurant will be rated with more "$" symbols.
